Strong and striking, this Log Basket is made on a paired base using the contrasting willow colours of Flanders Red and Dicky Meadows. The soft red tones of the Flanders compliment the green of the Dicky Meadows. Barrel like in shape, with integral handles, this basket will compliment any fireplace setting.
All the willow used in the making of my baskets is grown in Somerset , either on my own smallholding or from Musgrove Willows on the Somerset Levels. It in then harvested in the winter and treated using a combination of traditional and modern techniques to create a sustainable, beautiful end product.
